The Trudeau Resignation Saga: A Spoilt Brat Mentality or a Scorched Earth Campaign?
In Canadian politics, few events could be as polarizing as the announcement of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s intent to resign. Not a resignation—just the intent. This distinction is crucial because Trudeau remains in power, actively shaping the future of our country while signaling he may not be sticking around to face the long-term consequences of his decisions.
The Resignation That Wasn't
Trudeau’s announcement wasn’t the clean break many Canadians might have anticipated. Instead, it feels like the ultimate act of political hedging: stay in power long enough to wield influence, but with no binding commitment to remain accountable. This "half-measure" leaves the country in an awkward limbo, with speculation mounting about his motivations.
One can’t help but notice an unsettling trend in Trudeau’s recent actions. Rather than working to stabilize Canada for his successor, his policies and rhetoric appear to reflect a mindset that could be summarized as: "If I can't have it, no one will."
A Spoilt Brat Mentality?
We all know that Trudeau's recent decisions mirror the behavior of someone unwilling to let go of his power at the greatest cost to Canadians. His focus has never been about us Canadians but more on asserting communist-type control, even as trust erodes from even his own criminal people. It’s the political equivalent of taking the ball and going home because the game didn’t go his way.
This mindset manifests in decisions that selfishly have always put him first prioritizing optics and personal gain over national interests. From policies that exacerbate inflation to divisive rhetoric that deepens political fractures, and decimating our once proud military, almost extinguishing the Oil & Gas industry that pays for his bloody existence! Trudeau's governance feels more like a performance than a genuine effort to unite and lead. What else would we expect from a drama teacher...
the gig is up

The Ominous Undertones of a Scorched Earth Campaign
But what if it’s more calculated than mere petulance? There’s a darker interpretation gaining traction—that Trudeau may be engaging in a "scorched earth" campaign. The term, often associated with military strategy, refers to the deliberate destruction of anything that could be useful to the enemy. In the political context, this could mean dismantling systems, enacting contentious policies, or sowing division, leaving a successor with insurmountable challenges.
Consider the timing and tone of recent policy decisions. From significant fiscal commitments with unclear funding to a noticeable uptick in partisan aggression, these moves could be seen as laying traps for whoever takes the reins next. A prime minister leaving behind a smoldering political landscape can shape their own narrative of being the "last one standing" amidst chaos.

Canada Deserves Better
Whether it’s a case of bruised ego or calculated sabotage, neither scenario serves the Canadian people. Leadership demands accountability and a commitment to the greater good, even when the spotlight fades.
For Canadians, this moment calls for an immediate election - we deserve it, before it's all gone. Don't be fooled, all the potential new Liberal Party leaders and the NDP are cut from the same cloth and are all responsible for the crisis we all face. They really should all be held accountable and especially Trudeau - in fact a criminal investigation and charges would not be out of order! Anything less would be a disservice to the country we all call home.

Don't GO AWAY MAD, JUST GO AWAY!
